Easiest and fastest POE ever. Our flight arrived early so there was literally no one else at CBP. I was first in line, said "hi, l'm here to immigrate" and handed over my envelope and passport. This was a straight-forward entry. Pretty quiet, didn't wait long to be seen and friendly staff. Didn't have any issues just handed in my papers, had the packet opened (did biometrics) then got sent to a secondary room. They asked me what date the wedding was and then I was on my way! The customs officials were a bit gruff, but not harassing. They just asked questions that any legit entrant should know--such as "what is your fiancee's name?", "how did you meet?", "where are you staying?", "how long are you staying?", etc.

I arrived at Newark yesterday, flight landed at 6pm. By the time we'd taxied to the terminal and I'd retrieved my wedding dress from the wardrobe at the back of the plane, it was about 6.20pm before I got into the terminal building.

Overall, I had a very positive experience.
