My fiance arrived on time on his flight to JFK. He said that the whole process was fast. Processing of K1 Visa took longer than expected. 3 1/2 hrs. My fiance arrived on a Saturday mid-afternoon at JFK but there was no Customs Agents, who could interview / process him in French or Italian for a long while. Everything went just fine. Abdallah really didn't have any problems. He was asked only a few simple questions: Where he was going, how long did he plan to stay here, and why was he coming here ( obvious). So all went well, he made it through in about 10 minutes.

Couldn't have been simpler. Reached JFK at 3:40 PM, and walked quickly to the Immigration. Unfortunately quite a few flights had reached around that time and the place was swamped. From what Samuel said, he had no problems at JFK POE. He arrived at approximately 6:30pm and received the EAD temporary stamp. However, the plane to Cleveland was delayed due to a thunderstorm. Which put him in Cleveland by 1:30am on Monday.
