They took me to a different area of the airport and made me wait for 40 minutes.. If I had waited 20 minutes more than that I would have missed my second flight. The only asked when I intended to get married and that was it

This is second hand information from my husband. He said that POE was a breeze. He was the only visa holder in line so he was escorted downstairs. He was asked one question: Where are you going?
Then they took his fingerprints, stamped his passport and sent him on his way!

My POE was at Newark, NJ. I flew in on a Tuesday and to my surprise there was barely even a line at customs, I'd flown to this airport a few months prior and it was BUSY.. I could have blinked and missed this, it was so quick. I waited with my fiance in the US citizens line and we both went up to the officer. The Immigration Staffers at Newark Terminal B weren't helpful at all (and downright rude in a couple of cases post-Immigration). It was also busy as heck as multiple flights landed at the same time.
