The Immigration Staffers at Newark Terminal B weren't helpful at all (and downright rude in a couple of cases post-Immigration). It was also busy as heck as multiple flights landed at the same time.
So after waiting, went up and handed over the embassy envelope, my passport opened at the visa page and my customs declaration. The CBP officer tore open my envelope and I thought "Holy hell, those forms had best not be damaged!". Thankfully, they were not.
He checked everything over, took my fingerprints and picture before asking another officer to escort me to Secondary, which is just behind the immigration cubicles. On the way the officer asked me where my fiancee is - I explained she was working at the moment and I still had one flight to go to Rhode Island. After being signed in at Secondary, I was directed to sit down and wait my turn.
Another officer asked for my surname (and repeated himself as if I were stupid when he didn't understand it) before walking off. It took 3 officers round one computer to sort my case out - but I didn't get asked questions, told about the 90 day limit or anything. They literally handed back my passport with an admitted stamp on the page opposite the visa and I was on my way.
