I could have blinked and missed this, it was so quick. I waited with my fiance in the US citizens line and we both went up to the officer. My fiance was dealt with and then we explained we needed to enter me on a K1. He called over another guard to escort us downstairs and took the envelope from me and my passport. These were handed over to a man behind a desk, and we were instructed to sit and wait to be called over. In about 3mins I was called, I went over there and he said "You're all done, please exit over there". Another man let us out of the area and straight into luggage reclaim. It was incredible simple and trouble free. If only our flight on from Newark had been the same! But that's another story.
