My husband's interview was on the 29th of October at 8:30 am. He had to travel to the city of Casablanca and rent a hotel near the consulate. The next day, when he arrived there was a line of people across the consulate. The officer asked for the appointment letter and passport. Then he had a metal detector that the officer used for security check.
My husband was allowed to go up to the window and give the lady his passport and the 2 by 2 photos. He then was allowed to enter the consulate. He went through a hallway where he was met by to security officers. He had to take off his belt and anything inside his pockets. Everything had to be put in a box to run through the scanner machine. The security officer patted my husband down. Then he was able to proceed. ... read complete review

I had my interview on October 25t at 9:30 am.
I went through security at the outside of the consulate to go to a window where I had to drop off my passport and 2 photos, then got in.
The security inside asked me to take every single thing out of my pocket, even my belt. I had to keep my keys with them (fortunately didn't bring my phone inside with me) and they gave me a little ticket with a number on it.
I got inside the waiting room; it was full of people, apparently I was among the last ones to be in. A lady called me from a window (it was the same lady to who i gave my passport and 2 photos in the outside) she asked for the docs, aka DS-156, DS-165k,DS-157, and DS-230,she also Asked for my birth certificate, celibacy certificate, police record and the court record along with all the translations, she asked for the Affidavit of support and my fiancée's 2012 tax return, and was invited to pay the $240 fees at the cashier. After about 10 minutes, I was called by ... read complete review

The consulate was great. My Fiance entered the consulate at 9:30 in Oct 10 and he was done by 11:00am. He said that it was stressful due to the amount of paperwork and the formality, but the questions were very straight forward. My Fiance completed his interview in Arabic. He was given a receipt and told to come back on the following Tuesday, however due to L-Eid he had to wait another week. When he went in to get his Visa he entered at 3:30 and left at 4:15. It was the best day of my life!javascript:emoticon('')javascript:emoticon('')javascript:emoticon('')

My fiance went for his interview yesterday and the experience was very positive.
His interview was at 9:30am. He got there around 7am and waited in a cafe until 9am at which time he approached the embassy to see if he could enter. The guard turned him away but as he was walking away, the guard called him back to let him in. He went through security and had to turn off and leave his phone and keys there with security.
He was called to the window and was asked to provide them with the forms they asked him to bring with him: DS-156 (2 copies), DS-156k, DS-157 and DS-230 Part I only. He also needed to give them his birth certificate, celibacy certificate, police report, and court record with all of the translations. They asked him to put my name on some form as well. I'm not sure which form it was because the forms were completely filled out. I think it was another form they supplied. He spelled my last name wrong, because of nerves, but they didn... read complete review

My interview which is the 3rd, was scheduled on Aug 14, 2013 at 2pm, i arrived at 1:30pm, security guard asked me to wait till he makes sure my name is on the list, so he did, and let me in, there was only a woman in the entire room, all interviewing windows were closed, i waited till 3:30 pm when i was called by a female CO, when i heard her voice i thought she's the same CO who denied me twice last year, but she was another CO in her late twenties i guess, she was kind and helpful, the questions were the common ones, mostly about my wife but below i'm doing my best to remember all the questions, they were not a lot though:
- Tell me how you met your wife?
- how many times has she been to Morocco? and how long was each visit?
- why did you decide to live in Morocco?
- what makes your wife so special that you fell in love with her?
- what's her job?
- does your wife get paid salary or per hours?
- why didn't your wife visit you s... read complete review
