Hey all ,My visa was approved today and issued as per the CEAC website . the experience was pretty good and didn't take time .
I arrived at 6.15 am and there were around 5 people, they formed one line at 6.45 and then lines were separated to immigrant visas and non immigrants at 7am .i was number 4 in the immigrant visas line, they let us in at 7.20 am . we took numbers then they started at 7.30 to call numbers. i met a lady who asked about my medical file , personal photos and my passport , then she returned some copies of my birth and marriage certificates , additional documents previously submitted to NVC .
She asked what my husband work and if i have an explanation from him why he wasn't working here in egypt and asked about my original police certificate i told her she stapled it with the documents. she then handed me a paper to go pay the dhl fees.
At 9am CO started calling numbers again , they weren't in order .
The CO was so... read complete review

My Fience arrived at the embassy at 6:30 am and said that there was already people waiting. they let him in at 7:10 and gave him the number of 601. he waited until almost noon. he said it was nice inside and that the tea was good and cheap. when he was called up he asked if they could talk in arabic, the co asked if my fience and i talk in arabic, he said no. so the co said then you have to talk in english. then they took his fingerprints and his passport. he had to sign a piece of paper and write my name, then he gave them his orginal birth and military record, as well as his medical packet.
they asked him:
what are her parents names and their jobs, (he told them and asked if the co wanted to see copies of emails between my parents and him, the co asked if he talked to my parents and he said yes do you want to see the proff and the co said no)
then,what is her job
does she live alone

Hello everyone
My fiance's interview was this morning. We made it there at 5:25 thinking we would be the first people but to our surprise there were four people ahead of us We waited across from the embassy till 7:00 am when they started forming two lines, one for immigrant and the other for non-immigrant. Then they started asking people to take out the letter they received. My fiance received a phone call and not a letter so the guy had to look up his name on the list using our case number. At 7:15 they started letting people in. Of course, they didn't let me in with him as expected so I waited for him nearby. When my fiance was in, he was asked for the originals of birth certificate and military service. And then he paid the interview and dhl fee. And then the looooooooooong wait began. He wasn't called for his interview till around 11:20. He said the interview was less than 5 minutes. He said that the CO was extremely friendly ... read complete review

Here's my review...
First thing I want to say is: YEAH & APPPPPPRRRRROOOOOVVVVEEEEEDDDDD
I will now get straight to the point...
My fiance's interview was scheduled for 7:30am...just like everyone else's.
He arrived at 06:20
The were 2 lines formed...one for immigrant visa's and the other for non-immigrant visa's
An employee was going down the lines asking for the interview appointment letters and writing a number and letter on them (like B1...never learned what that meant)
Once the doors opened, they went thru security (like you do at an airport)
(my finace left his cell phone at home, since we already knew they are not allowed in.)
After security clearance - 2 men were checking what types of visa's you are there for and then giving #'s.
My fiance was #6.
He took a seat and waited until about 8:15am when his # was called by a female who had our file.
She took documents o... read complete review
