We arrive about 40 min prior to our scheduled time. We weren't seen until approx 30 min after our scheduled time. They call names from both the front and back of the waiting room, and we almost missed our name being called since we were sitting at the front and the person who called us came in through the back.

The interview went very smoothly. Just some questions about the wedding, all the "no" questions from the I485, and some verification of information on the forms. We were asked to provide a copy of our wedding certificate. I luckily had purchased 2 official copies. I had mailed one in with the AOS paperwork, however it was not in the packet that our interviewer had. I had the second official copy on me (as well as photocopies). She asked for our IDs and copied some information down, as well as copies of my wife's SSN, EAD, and AP documents.

My appointment was at 7.20am so we arrived around 7am and there was already some people waiting outside the building, we then entered the building, passed security and was told to go to the second floor. When you're on the second floor there's a guard at the door who tells you to deposit your interview letter at the window by the end of the room and take a seat 'cause they'll call you when it's your turn..I was probably called around 7.40am...not sure...and the whole interview lasted about 20/25 minutes.
A young Asian lady called my name so we got up and followed her to her office...before we even sat down she asked us to raise our right hand and she asked us to swear to tell the truth and we said yes..she then opened my file on the table and she had another piece of paper on her right where she was checking boxes and writing down our answers to her questions..
She started by asking us our ID's, Driving License, Passport, SSN card and EAD card for me, Passport and Driving... read complete review

Review Topic: Other Experience

Went to Santa Ana for a Tax ID without realizing that we don't need a tax id since we are eligible for SSN soon. Don't take your cell phone with you. they won't let you in. It was fortunate that we went there since they checked our documents online and found an error and immediately next week, things started happnening.
