We arrive about 40 min prior to our scheduled time. We weren't seen until approx 30 min after our scheduled time. They call names from both the front and back of the waiting room, and we almost missed our name being called since we were sitting at the front and the person who called us came in through the back.
The interview went very smoothly. Just some questions about the wedding, all the "no" questions from the I485, and some verification of information on the forms. We were asked to provide a copy of our wedding certificate. I luckily had purchased 2 official copies. I had mailed one in with the AOS paperwork, however it was not in the packet that our interviewer had. I had the second official copy on me (as well as photocopies). She asked for our IDs and copied some information down, as well as copies of my wife's SSN, EAD, and AP documents.
I was then asked to hand over any proof of relationship documents. I handed them over, she asked "Is that all"? I said we had photos too. She asked me to take out 3 or 4 photos that they could add to our file. I gave her 10, and she quickly skimmed through them and then handed them back. She then quickly went through the documents I submitted (Insurance, bank account, credit card) and highlighted where both of our names appeared.
She then said we were approved, handed over a "Welcome" letter, and told us we'd get the green card in the mail within a few weeks.
