Our case seemed to not need an interview, as it was transferred to the CA servicing center and everything had been going smoothly. But, for whatever reason, we were scheduled for an interview. The appointment was at 8:00 am. We were there 15 minutes early. I had left my driver's license at the hotel, so they would not let me in the building. My husband was allowed to go in, and I just had to watch through the window outside. I saw the interviewer call my husband and they went into the offices. I waited outside, very nervously pacing at the front doors, until the interviewre (a man) came to the door and told the security guard he needed to talk to me.
The interviewer was really VERY nice. He said he did need to ask me some questions, and if I minded doing it outside. Of course, I said we can discuss outside, because the only alternative was for them to reject our case. He asked some questions, which really only seemed to be verifying what my husband had already answered during hi... read complete review

I accompanied Malathi Shetty (friend) to take her oral exam for citizenship on Tuesday, 9/21/10. We drove from Tallahasse to Jacksonville just for this purpose. We were told in line outside the entrance not to bring in electronics, candy, gum, etc. or they would be taken. I had brought my purse and Kindle so I went back to car and began dumping items out of my purse. In my hurry to get back to the line I mistakenly missed a small (3") pair of embroidery scissors that was deep down in one of the inside pockets of my purse. The woman in the security line took everything out of my purse. I realized immediately that I had forgotten I had them. I was very upset because this was not intentional and begged to be allowed to take them back to the car. The scissors were a gift from my mother and I have had them for over 30 years. I have tried to replace them but they are not made anymore. The woman tending the security line was very unfriendly and rude in addition to taking my scissors. T... read complete review

Hello everyone,
I am here to share with you guys my interview experience with all of you that are going to have your interview at the Jacksonville FL CIS Office.
Well, I had my interview today, it was scheduled for 8:30 in the morning, but we arrived there at 8:00 am. We walked out of the car leaving everything that could be dined entry at the Immigration office door. So at the door there was the same security guard as when we went for the Biometrics, I guess she's the only one there. So we entered, dropped our letter at the INTERVIEW box and sat down, we were just waiting to be called. It took them about 40 min to call us in, I saw some people arriving there after us and going in before us, but we didn't care, especially me, I guess I was more confident than my husband, he was quite nervous I must say. The lobby was quite full, but most of the people were just there for biometrics, very few were there for interview.
So after those 40 minute... read complete review
