This is coming from my conversation with my fiance.
She said she arrived at 07.00 for the 08.00 interview. Stored her belongings in the lockers across the street.
Gave all documents need at the window. They took the originals of birth certificate, and divorce papers. They returned originals after interview.
She said she was the last of 4 in line for the K1. She said that she believed her and another was approved and 2 denied.
She said 2 denied she could see significant age differences.
But she also said that the CO said she was glad that at least a couple that day could prove relationships.
She said she waited 3 hours since she was last in called in but interview was like others stated here , 4.minutes. she said that others averages 30-35 minutes each. She was asked, how we met, when i visited, what i do for work. And she asked where the last picture we gave them was from. It was us at Anzio Beach. Of course she told them the date and the tim... read complete review

We got to the embassy 15 minutes before the interview, when we got there there was no line so we were able to come in pretty quickly. As the petitioner I just had to show my US passport. They didn’t let us take the cd from the medical exam with us, we had to leave it at the front desk and picked it up when we left.
Make sure that you are registered with passport delivery because that is the first thing they check once inside. It took us about 2 hours overall, the first 15 minutes they checked all documents and took fingerprints. The actual interview took about 5-7 minutes, there were only 2 windows doing interviews. One had a nice young co and the other had a lady who asked a lot of tough questions. I would say that as long as you come prepared you have a good chance of being approved. We only saw one couple get denied. Overall the experience was pretty smooth.

First they sorted out our paperwork. If you have originals and copies, leave the copies out. (We had an extra folder where we had documents we might need. I would recommend putting any copies there.) The Ukrainian lady at the window was very kind, and helped my fiancee, this took about 10 minutes. We then waited about 15 minutes. Our consular officer was very nice and started with a few questions to me. What part of my state was I from, how was it there? Then he asked my fiancee how we met, if she had relatives in USA, he also asked about her previous attempt to get a business Visa and how many times I visited. Then they chatted a while, then he asked her daughter about her school and if she spoke English. Listen to the questions as they were worded in a manner to test what you have said in your documents. Then after a pleasant chat we were approved. It took a few minutes for us to really understand, but then happiness set in. If you travel with children from previous marriages, bring ... read complete review
