We got to the embassy 15 minutes before the interview, when we got there there was no line so we were able to come in pretty quickly. As the petitioner I just had to show my US passport. They didn’t let us take the cd from the medical exam with us, we had to leave it at the front desk and picked it up when we left.
Make sure that you are registered with passport delivery because that is the first thing they check once inside. It took us about 2 hours overall, the first 15 minutes they checked all documents and took fingerprints. The actual interview took about 5-7 minutes, there were only 2 windows doing interviews. One had a nice young co and the other had a lady who asked a lot of tough questions. I would say that as long as you come prepared you have a good chance of being approved. We only saw one couple get denied. Overall the experience was pretty smooth.
