My wife had her interview on Dec 21st. I sent her many possible questions that I found here in the forums to help her prepare. But I told her the most important thing was to tell the truth, smile, and look the interviewer in the eye. My theory is they are looking to see if you are telling the truth, and the answers should match whatever papers, forms, email, chat logs you have submitted in the process.

I read many forum posts about the woman officer at window #5 and how she gives a hard interview. My wife of course got window #5. I didn't warn her about that, I didn't want her to be worried. She was # 6 to go to the window, even though she had a 7am appointment. The five women before her were ALL denied. Ouch!

She made the officer laugh which might have helped her cause. The woman was reading some emails of ours, and asked my wife is she really eats bugs. My wife said "yes, don't you?". The woman laughed, said "yes, sometimes" and told her to co... read complete review

Even if they give you a time, that will not be the time you are interviewed. If you are any time in the morning (anytime from 7-12), get there at 6:30. MAKE SURE YOU DRESS NICE!!!

For immigrant visa you don\'t have to wait in line, you just wait in the room. They will give you a green card.

Have your driver\'s liscene to scan.

When you go through the scanner, give them back the card that is green.

Really unorganized at the window. The person will ask for passport. Then fingerprints. Then tax return form. Then medical exam. Need real proof of residency. Need real birth certificate. I-134 form. Real police certificate. Real recept for visa fee (white paper, not the blue one). Then proof of relationship. If you have letters, have the envelope.

To make it easier, come with each section of information in a separate folder.

Now you will wait about 2 hours before they start interview... read complete review

First thing I would Like to warn everyone about is DO NOT WORRY about being the First People to the Embassy. We were the first people there and when I say that we were greating

Interviews start at 0700 and they start letting people in a Little Early after that it is RANDOM as heck. First there in the Morning last out in the morning Literaly. You can go in the embassy but you have to wait and you can NOT be in the area for the Interviews.

As for the interview: My wife said that there are multiple interviewers at window no.5.

You will go to Window 6 first to turn in Documents there We were told that our Police check was not there and then when My wife presented the copies of the Documents ( That I raced accross Bankok on the Back of a scooter to get from Lawyers Office) they were were in the Packet afterall.

Each interview she said seems to be different I assume based on your case. Don't be affraid to bring a truck load of doc... read complete review

Well i have to say her interview went fairly smooth. Her interviewer was very kind and helpful. She said there wasn't as many questions as she prepared for. The interviewer thoroughly reviewed our emails and only made a comment about a recent disagreement we had over skype. He was very impressed with the way she tailored her evidence. I can't stress enough how important it is to make sure your evidence is in order. Also, if you mention you and your fiancee/fiance have been dating for 5 years, make sure you have the evidence. She said 2 girls mentioned they were dating their boyfriends for 5 years, but only brought evidence for 3. If you don't have evidence going back to the year you first started dating, I suggest you don't mention it.

During her time in the embassy she noticed how rough the interviewers can be with the interviewees. Just keep in mind they are trained to be that way. They want you to feel uncomfortable. Their job is to catch inconsistencies with your s... read complete review
