My wife had her interview on Dec 21st. I sent her many possible questions that I found here in the forums to help her prepare. But I told her the most important thing was to tell the truth, smile, and look the interviewer in the eye. My theory is they are looking to see if you are telling the truth, and the answers should match whatever papers, forms, email, chat logs you have submitted in the process.
I read many forum posts about the woman officer at window #5 and how she gives a hard interview. My wife of course got window #5. I didn't warn her about that, I didn't want her to be worried. She was # 6 to go to the window, even though she had a 7am appointment. The five women before her were ALL denied. Ouch!
She made the officer laugh which might have helped her cause. The woman was reading some emails of ours, and asked my wife is she really eats bugs. My wife said "yes, don't you?". The woman laughed, said "yes, sometimes" and told her to come back in 4 days to pick up the Visa. Woohoo! The journey was long and painful, and lonely for us since I was in the US, but we are finally back togther again!
