Everybody was so nice and so polite, amazing people work in this Embassy.
Everything was explained in a nice and a polite way. The wait time was at a minimum.
In general the Embassy is rly good and proffesional and the people are really nice that work there.

Our first comment is that if you have been married for more than two years, do not assume that it will be easier to complete the interview process. In fact, it seemed ours was more difficult and our only theory is because we would be issued a 10-year immigrant visa (rather than a 2-year). Our marriage seemed to be more scrutinized because we waited so long to file. Our reasoning was completely legitimate but we had to take extra time and provide additional documentation to prove this.
Secondly, some of the embassy workers are only working there because a family member or connection got them the high paying job - and their lack of skills prove it. They have no concern for your issues and while they make more money than by typical Serbian standards, it is almost as though they resent you for being able to go to the U.S. The worker checking us in tried to send us away saying we didn't have an appointment. I had my interview on the 11th of February. My fiance was with me, just couple of days prior to the interview I sent an email to the embassy informing them he will be accompanying me so that he would be given access to embassy grounds. We arrived there at 9:45 and interview was scheduled for 10.
First I was called to room 10 and my fiance went in with me. A Serbian officer asked me to give him all original documents that I have. After he took them he went out and came back couple of minutes later, returning me all my documents. He then asked how did we meet and how many times has my fiance visited me. He also asked how and when did he obtain his naturalization(he is UK born). After that he told us to wait to be called to a next counter where we will pay visa fee- 265$ and they accept cards. After that, we were called in again to room 10 where I was told all my documents are all right, but that I need original birth certificate from my birth country. I had one from Serbia and I ... read complete review

My husband had an easy and pleasant interview for the CR1 visa at the US embassy in Belgrade. He registered for the courier service and his visa was ready for pickup in five days.
