All good

Turns out that the hour they set up is not the hour you will talk to the consular officer but the time when they will let you into the embassy. I was at 9AM and was in the last group of people who were coming in. Most of them were for tourist visas.
Obviously, no electronic devices allowed. You can leave your phone at the deposit but not much more than that. Don't bring any backpacks with you or anything like it! All I had was my documents and keys
People in there are very helpful and nice so no stress at all.

After screening like at the airport I followed the instructions and went to a lady who scanned the barcode I received at the http://www.ustraveldocs.com/ (this determines how I want my passport back). Then to another lady, who checked some of the original documents (in my case no financial documents were checked, only my birth certificate, polic... read complete review

Review Topic: K1 Visa

A lot of stress over nothing! First off, the K1 visa is for my fiancee, but I went into the embassy with her. We had an 8:30 interview time and arrived at 7:50, and there was already a line of about ten people waiting in front of the embassy. A woman with a printout of scheduled interview times was standing outside ensuring that people in line with earlier interview times were accepted into the embassy first. After everyone with an 8:00 and 8:115 interview were already invited into the embassy, she called out to us. My fiancee showed her passport, DS-160 confirmation page, and appointment confirmation printout. I was allowed into the embassy without any paperwork because of my US passport.

Inside we were told to approach window number 13 in the Immigrant Visa section of the embassy. I was with my fiancee the whole time, by her side. There, a Polish official asked my fiancee to produce her medical exam results, her appointment confirmation, her police records, her photos,... read complete review

Whole process took me around 1,5 h and it was really nice expierence.
Consul was very nice lady. She let my fiance join me during the interview. She asked few questions like: how did you meet, what's your fiance profession, has he ever been in Poland, can he speak Polish.

All you need to do is prepare all required documents, there was nothing surprising.

I would like to share my experience. I am an American citizen and my wife a Polish citizen. We were married Aug 21, 2016. Over the course of 1 year 9 months we finally got our interview date. We had our interview originally on June 18, however my wife and I rescheduled it so I could attend my Graduation Ceremony. We reschedule for July, Friday the 13th. We received a list of papers to prepare for the interview. Such as, long form of birth certificate, marriage certificate, divorce papers, criminal record, affidavit of support, proof of payment of the i130, d260 and something else.

Our interview was at 830am an we were at the the embassy at 745am. There was a man calling people to the line based on the time your supposed to be there. The check your invitation letter. I attended every step of the process with my wife. We came way over prepared. The only thing that was asked for was the birth certificate, marriage certificate and criminal record. For me, this is my secon... read complete review
