I applied for my wife end of Jan 2012. Case was approved May 28. NVC completed case September 22 and Interview appointment letter was emailed on Oct 4, 2012.
My wife had her interview at Islamabad, Pakistan on Nov 20th, 2012. She arrived at the shuttle at 6:30, got her ticket & boarded the shuttle for US Embassy. After going through finger prints, she was called after 15 minutes to a window to submit her Passport, Medical Reports & was asked her mobile number and then was handed a purple token to collect her passport from American Express. She was also asked in which language she would like to take the interview, she selected Urdu. She was then told to wait. While waiting my wife witnessed several approvals and AP cases.
After 25-30 minutes later, she was called for an Interview. There was a white male CO and a young pakistani translator standing next to him.
Here are a few questions she was asked:

Respected Members!
Here is my journey. After 2 years and 5 months of wait finally got an interview appointment. Reached embassy at 6am, got the shuttle at about 7am, reached to the consular office at 7:20ish. Security done, finger prints done, went to the interview hall at 7:45. Finally got first call to submit my paper work at 10.30, guy asked me to submit medicals, asked my contact details, gave me purple token.
Right after an hour got the final call.

3) What have u studied in UK? ( I was in UK for 8 years)
4) Where did u worked in UK? ( Work History)
5) Consolur said every thing is fine, but the address of your wife and your brother in law ( Co -sponsor) is not same. (I was like how is that possible, i showed... read complete review

Not a good result. CO put my wife on AP. Handed Sky blue sheet with 221(g) marked with an "X" and stated that the case is in Administrative process and it will take upto 3 months and if no response in 3 months then we can contact Embassy after 90 days.
We arrived Embassy via shuttle service. They took her finger prints. Then sent to Window # 6 to submit our letter of appointment from NVC.
After waiting 25 mins She was called at window # 6 and asked to submit her medical and passport. The lady confirmed her cellular number in order to have American Express called them once the Visa will be issue and handed my wife a Purple color token with a Serial # on it to have her passport and Visa collected from American Embassy once visa approved. She asked what language my wife prefer to interview and she stated native language "Urdu".
I handed over my updated I-864 (Affidavit of support) to the lady and informed her that my job is changed and she ... read complete review
