My wife interview was the most shortest one. The security let my wife in the embassy building at 8Am and one Pakistani guy ask to my wife. is your husband is a Muslim? she said yes and he ask her for nekah paper with Urdu & then she gave him.
She had a lots of documents including our wedding pictures with three albums & our emails and calls records and others documents.Firs the CO he greeted her with smile & he said to my wife the state you are going to is very cold you need to shop form more winter clothes from Pakistan in US very expensive and he smiled @ her she said he was very friendly he is Asian american.
His questions was.
Who is sponsoring you?
Where does he live?
How long has he been living there?
How did you guys meet?
Then he said congratulations you will get your visa in seven days.Then my wife she go very confused and she ask him did you finished your questions.CO said oh sorry i forgot.. did you done you Rukhsatee? she said yes & he ask for wedding albums she took with her three albums it was very heavy she left it @ the chair then she bring to him & then CO said to my wife let me see the green one? that album was my party before i go to Pakistan celebrated with my family here in USA & barely look a it he said very nice. he did't see our wedding pix.
No one @ the window.just my wife and CO.My wife speaks very good English.
My advice to everyone apply IR-1/CR-1 visa it will take about the same times K1 visa.you can check it out my TIME LINE it only took five month & 23 days. then after she come to us she will get her green card with in a month when she comes in US.We don't have to remarried & go to court she will be join with my medical insurance. I think applying for marriage less investigation by CO than fiance.More important is collect all the document and during the interview be relax & confident.
Before you come back to US bring with you your spouse (birth certificate,wedding certificate, 2x2 passport size photos police report, passport copy, birth certificate & pictures or albums)then apply immediately.then respond quickly especially for NVC.
I am not Pakistani i went to Pakistan to get married it was my first time i stayed for two months & i loved it.i love my wife.i wish i will go back again but to bad i have to pay some bills.
