Review Topic: K1 Visa

Paul was approced on June 5, 2007, I recieved the call at 11:42am. I am just now submitting the review because I have been traveling with my job. Whew!!!! I am so glad to be home now!

I wanted to give everyone an update on what exactly happened at the embassy. Paul’s experience was like no other that I have seen on the site. Let me start out by saying that he advises anyone that is going there to wear clothes that are warm and comfortable as you will be in for a long wait in a very cold place. Also, no cell phones are allowed in the embassy, so you may want to keep that in mind. He was in line for the embassy and once they found the cell phone on him, they put him out until he got rid of it. Paul said that he was quite discouraged when he seen person after person leaving the room looking quite gloomy, so be prepared to see this and don’t be discouraged because of it.

Paul goes into the room and a lady interviews him. He said that the in... read complete review

Well, I have never poseted a timeline as I did not let myself think about the time nor did I check for anything happening in the process. I just could not let myself worry as we started the process once before and at the end were unable to finish it so I had been there and done that and refused to do it again!!! So, it all seemed to along faster than expected even though it was quite a long wait!! I have used VJ alot along the way for info, so feel this is the important part to share!! I filed the petition the around the middle of November and we got the NOA 2 approval notice I think in the middle or end of February. He went to the embassy about 4 weeks later and received packets 3 and was given an interview date of May 21st. I already had plans to visit in April to take all the documents he would need. Sam had his interview on May 21st and it seemed to go fairly well other than arriving at 7 am and waiting about 9 hours with no food or water (he won't drin... read complete review

Review Topic: General Review

Well, VJ members, I need those of you who know how to pray, to pray that all goes well for us on Tuesday. I am positive that God's will, will be done in our case. And since, I know that Jer 29:11, says, For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end. We know what our expectations are and I know that it is God's will for us to be together. God is good! I will give everyone an update as soon as I hear from my baby, I was successful. God bless everyone in your future endeavors and remember to keep Paul and Genny in your prayers!

Review Topic: K3 Visa

Yahooooooo, this is how I feel, hello my friends of vj. My husband had his interview today for the k-3. He said it went well. Glory be to GOD" almighty whos handed was in it from the start. Aaron and I are on different time zone so last time I spoke to him was 4 hrs before his interview my last words was, "when you get your visa send me a text" saying" USA. His interview was at 7am his time, which was 2am my time in the usa. I got the text at 11:40 am my time, 4:40 pm his time, "saying (USA). If only all of you could of seen my face. I was at work his message read "I got the visa they told me to come back thrusday to pick it up" so i called him. Aaron told me that the interview didn't last five minutes, he also said since everything (portfoilo) was in order the lady ask a few question, like why his parents didn't attend the wedding, where did I work, where we met, what kind of work I do and he said she read some of our supported evidence we sent in the portfolio w... read complete review
