Well, I have never poseted a timeline as I did not let myself think about the time nor did I check for anything happening in the process. I just could not let myself worry as we started the process once before and at the end were unable to finish it so I had been there and done that and refused to do it again!!! So, it all seemed to along faster than expected even though it was quite a long wait!! I have used VJ alot along the way for info, so feel this is the important part to share!! I filed the petition the around the middle of November and we got the NOA 2 approval notice I think in the middle or end of February. He went to the embassy about 4 weeks later and received packets 3 and was given an interview date of May 21st. I already had plans to visit in April to take all the documents he would need. Sam had his interview on May 21st and it seemed to go fairly well other than arriving at 7 am and waiting about 9 hours with no food or water (he won't drink cold water and it is freezing in there for him!!) He was interviewed by a lady. She asked him what do I do, if I had petitioned him before (I had) and she wanted pictures and he had two albums, but one was too large to fit through the hole. She looked at the small album and said we should have more pictures with his family and not just us two! She asked why we waited so long for this (it has been almost 6 years since we met online!!) She asked how many times I had visited and when he said 8 she exclaimed "* times???"! She wanted to know why he wanted to marry me and he said because he loved me and just knew I was the right person for him. She asked when we planned to marry and he said it depended on when and if he got the visa. Her last question was what are the names and ages of my children. He said the first and was about to say the second (who's age he was unsure of) when she stopped him and said ok, and asked him for some e-mails. She took some of the very old ones. Said she did not want all as it was too much. Then she gave him a rejection letter based on the fact his medical report was not ready for 2 days and told him to come back any Friday except the following two, and to bring every single thing he had brought that day. She did not say he was approved and she did not keep his passport. So.........we worried for 2 weeks and thought he would have another interview today, June 8th. He arrived again at 7 am as told, and I don't know how long he had to wait, but she asked to see the medical report, told him to return next Thursday for his visa and that was it!!!!! Thank you Jesus!!! Anyone with questions is always wecome to e-mail me!!!
