My fiance entered his interview at the American Consulate in Casablanca on November 6. We arrived at 630 am and he went into the embassy at 7:45 am while a friend and myself waited at the cafe across from the consulate. My fiance was very well prepared with everything in seperate files from our emails, financial support proof, forms needed for the interview, and he also had all of our chat logs in very neat binders and almost 200 pics with explanations under each picture. His interview was only 10 minutes long and he passed. He came back out of the consulate running with the biggest smile at 9:30 am the entire process lasted 1 hr and 45 minutes.
The original date was set for November 2 but when I reached Morocco and driving home from the airport my fiance received a call from the embassy that his interview date was changed to Friday the 6th. I was to leave on the 5th. I rearranged my schedule and was able to stay until Sunday the 8th. My fiance said the the man th... read complete review

Fiance said interview went well. He did not wait long and it took just 15 minutes compared to others apparantly who took much longer.
He had an American man, with whom he spoke English. Fiance showed him the relatively little evidence that we had... a few pictures of our visit together, and some emails we printed out. I guess fiance was a little intimidated that everyone around him had HUGE piles of evidence etc. but in the end it proved to be enough.
Fiance was asked questions such as how my parents met (since they too, are Moroccan-dad-and american-mom). He knew the story well of course and ofcourse those were the days before the internet! He was also asked things like what I did for a living, and what my parents did.
The interviewer also asked why we didn't marry in Morocco the last time I visited, since I am a native Moroccan and have my residency there. My fiance explained that we had been missing some forms lad... read complete review

Aziz had arrived very early and was instructed to give them his appointment letter, passport, and 2 pictures. Then he waited about an hour till his interview. As he looked around the room he noticed that there were a ton of people and he was given a number. First, he was interviewed by a Moroccan man that asked him a few questions, possibly 3 minutes and told him that his interview would be in English. Then Aziz waited for 20 minutes before he had his interview with the feared blondie. That made me worry, but he said today she was on her best behavior and that she was really nice to him and that he could understand her very clearly. She asked him these questions:
How you meet your wife? Who is her stepfather? Who is her biological father? How did you meet your wife? How is it that her father introduced you to her? How many times did her father visit Morocco? Is he married to someone? When did she visit the first time? When was the last time ... read complete review
