Fiance said interview went well. He did not wait long and it took just 15 minutes compared to others apparantly who took much longer.

He had an American man, with whom he spoke English. Fiance showed him the relatively little evidence that we had... a few pictures of our visit together, and some emails we printed out. I guess fiance was a little intimidated that everyone around him had HUGE piles of evidence etc. but in the end it proved to be enough.

Fiance was asked questions such as how my parents met (since they too, are Moroccan-dad-and american-mom). He knew the story well of course and ofcourse those were the days before the internet! He was also asked things like what I did for a living, and what my parents did.

The interviewer also asked why we didn't marry in Morocco the last time I visited, since I am a native Moroccan and have my residency there. My fiance explained that we had been missing some forms ladi da da.

In any case, in the end the interviewer told him "we will call you in one week" and handed him a small green ticket with a number on it. They kept all the paper work including his passport. I think if it was AP he would have received a form or something, so we're hoping it means he will get his visa soon..
All in all it seemed that his experience was excellent, and there was no problem with the interviewer being unreasonable, as I have heard from others' unfortunate experiences with not-so-nice consulate workers.

good luck to everyone out there.
