My husband was called first by a Moroccan man. He asked him a few basic questions and took his fingerprints. He was nice, but cordial.
Then he was called to speak to both the Moroccan man and the blond lady. He had applied for a visitors visa back when we first met. (I told him it was a waste of time, but you know our men!) They denied him of course. They said why did he really apply? He had family and he wanted to see them, not really to see me, etc. They gave him a really hard time. I thought the fact he attempted to come here to see me in America was a good sign. Silly me.
Well, he stayed calm and after they couldn't shake him, he said it was like a light switch went off. She got all nice and polite. The Moroccan man left and it was just him and the lady. She looked at our pictures and asked questions. How did we meet. Where did we meet. How long he knew me, when we were married and here is a good one....the day of the week we got married on. Heck, I couldn't have a... read complete review

I want to thank VJ and all the members here because it’s been such a great help without VJ and its members I would be so lost in this process and just like I have read all the cases on here and learned from others and their interviews I too would like to help others so this is how it went……….. (and by the way the questions are not in order, my hubby is so unorganized Im lucky he remembered this much of the interview lol
He got there at 7:45 to stand in line, he was the only K1 the rest were lottery and tourist visas, So when he got inside they asked him to pay the fees(cashier) and they took his DS forms then they told him to have a seat that they would call him so about 30 minutes later a moroccan woman calls him and asks for his medical papers and the affidavit of support and all the things that packet 3 instructed him to bring she then asked him if he speaks English and if he would like his interview in English or Arabic, he said English of course, she then took ... read complete review

My fiance had his visa interview on July 12th. Overall he said the interview was not too bad, though they asked the same questions over and over again, and all about me of course. He was prepared, so it was ok. They do a lot to try to try to confuse them, but it is important to remain respectful and attentive. He said they watched his body language more than listened to his actual answers. The frustrating part was they never gave any answer after the interview...just a white slip of paper and "we will call you"...very stressful. I was hopeful it was good because they kept his passport. We were unable to get any status updates or information until they called July 20th for him to pickup the visa. My only complaint is that they did not ever tell him he was just in AP. It was a frustrating week of not knowing. Otherwise, not too painful.

My fiancee had a typical experience at the consulate in Casablanca. He arrived, waited in lines, watched other people interview, etc. The time came for his interview and he was asked a series of questions that were very detailed in nature. He was asked about everything from the amount of child support that I receive each month, to where my ex lives and what jobs my siblings hold. The woman kept a very straight face and didn't give him any clues as to whether or not he had been approved or denied. She simply handed him his things, kept his passport, and said they would call him.
3 weeks later he received a phone call to come pick up his visa, and a few weeks after that I was greeting him at the airport.
My fiancee speaks very good English, he answered all questions as honestly as he could. He brought with him evidence including photos and chat logs. The interviewer only looked at some of the chat logs. He told her that he was unemployed at the moment. The... read complete review
