My fiance and I got our interview scheduled right when we got the letter from the consulate. I didn't go my self buy my Fiance said they move quickly inside and as long as you have all your paperwork things are fine. She didn't need to get her police report or birth certificate translated, she was told everyone was bi-lingual and it wasn't an issue.

Our interview was scheduled for April 27th at 8:45am. We originally planned to say and wait for the visa in Cd. Juarez but we decided to have it mailed to a DHL location by her house. We flew into the airport at Cd. Juarez on April 24th from Monterrey. If you are flying with a non-mexican US citizen, the USC needs to have an FMM (Mexican Immigration form) otherwise you will have problems flying to and from Cd. Juarez, even if you are on a domestic (Mexican) flight. We originally booked a room at the Ibis Hotel because of its location, but the room was horrendous, and whatever they use to clean the room gave me some type of allergic reaction, so we had to switch to the Quality Inn down the road. I would highly, highly recommend the Quality Inn, and I wouldn't recommend the Ibis, it was hands down the worst hotel room I have ever set foot into. The Quality Inn was similarly priced and much, much better. If you have children, the Quality Inn has a very nice pool area to keep them entertai... read complete review

This is the same review that was posted in English above, but in Spanish, but with the addition of number 10 from the point of view of the Mexican. Number 10 is in English and Spanish.

Here are some tips on visitng the Juárez consulate. I am not going to talk about what happens at the consulate itself, since other people have covered it:
1. Allegiant AIrway has cheap fares to El Paso from some cities.
2. Taxis from the El Paso airport to the consulate area could cost from US$70-$100 each way. Here is a cheaper way to do it if you feel comfortable using public and Mexican transport (Spanish helps):
a. take the 33 or 50 bus from the airport to the Downtown Transfer Station ($1.50). They leave about every 20 minutes. If you stay overnight in one of the El Paso airport hotels, like Microtel, you can walk back to the airport or take the hotel shuttle
b. from the Downtown Transfer Station, ask where the Transborde or El Ejectuvio yellow buses leave from (It is a one block walk). Go in and buy a one way ticket to the consulate. It is US$13. The buses leave when they have enough passengers, usually less than every half hour. There are a... read complete review

3/6 We drove to El Paso to save about $1000 in flights, 3 of us traveling. Had a relativebhelp drive and take our vehicle to border town of McAllen, TX. for us to pick up and drive back home after process.
3/7 Took EP Shuttle to Cuidad Juarez in afternoon to Hotel Maria Bonita. Paid total of $258 for 5 days. The complimentary breakfast was the best part, actually hot, cooked dishes. Felt the springs on the old matresses, but did rest and felt very comfortable. Free shuttles to and from, just make arrangements for them. Very nice and professional service. If saying the Mexican President stayed there before we got there helps, well this is the one.
3/8 Had set appointment for medical exam online previously at Servicios Medicos de la Frontera. If you can take care of vaccines at Health Department here in States, it is cheaper. Just don't forget to have them signed and sealed, that's what they did to his. We even got them free at Health Dept. since he is not insured, this is ... read complete review
