Interview was simple and straightforward. They asked him for the spouses(my) name, DOB, the company I work at... They had him point out who my parents were from the wedding pics, and they asked where my parents lived. That's about it, then handed him a 221g for joint sponsorship papers. Now I have sent the papers and once he submits it, we'll be waiting on them again. Frustrating process, we are at the very end of our patience!

Very peculiar event for my fiance.

From his words into mine:

He received at 7:30am. There was a huge line in front of him. [So, I recommend getting there super early.]

He waited with everyone else for the counters to call his number. When, they called him up to the counter - the lady couldn't find his file whatsoever. So, he was asked to sit back down. He waited and waited.

He said as he was waiting - the alarms went off, everyone was locked in and told to lay on the ground. I'm not sure nor is he sure whatever caused that chaos, but he was alive and well to proceed.

After the scare, the Indian lady finally took his first interview. She focused alot on the fact that my last tax return was so little income because I was unemployed in 2011. He finally showed her a letter from my new employer this year and all was fine. Very basic questions other than that. Have you been to the US? Has she been here? How'd... read complete review

So here is my review about my visa interview. My interview was scheduled at 7:30 AM on 6 Dec 2012. I reached the consulate at 6:15 AM and there was already a huge line over there. At around 7:00 AM we were asked to make 2 lines 1 for non immigration and 1 for immigration. I was #3 in the immigration line and we were taken in for security check and this is where another line is formed based on who finishes the check first so I was #4 in the line. There are 2 interviews which take place 1st being with an indian who looks at your case asks for a few certificates which they need to look at before the american official takes a look at your case. The indian official asked me (1) Who is filing for you?
(2) How long did you live in Canada? ( I've been living in Canada for 4 years came to India only for the interview)
(3) When did you get married.

Then I was asked to wait. After 10-15min I was called at the second interview,it was pretty short too, they asked me to t... read complete review

My Wife and Son reached consulate at 6:30 am on Nov 26th. There was no line, all applicants were standing infarct of the consulate, at 7:00 am two officers from consulate came out and asked to form 2 lines one for immigrants and second for non-immigrants. Then the officers checked our appointment letters.

we started going for security check at 7:15 am and at 7:30 we reached at window to take token. Then they issue token and then they said to wait. At 8:00am our token was flashed on screen and we was called at window 6.
My Wife and Son went to that window and said good morning to the Indian officer. he asked for our passports and appointment letter
and then returned our original papers and said to wait for the interview with American interviewer. at 10:30am we went to window 11 where the interview starts:

1) to Son: what is your age?
2) to Wife: who is petitioning you.
3) to Wife: who many peopl... read complete review
