Very peculiar event for my fiance.

From his words into mine:

He received at 7:30am. There was a huge line in front of him. [So, I recommend getting there super early.]

He waited with everyone else for the counters to call his number. When, they called him up to the counter - the lady couldn't find his file whatsoever. So, he was asked to sit back down. He waited and waited.

He said as he was waiting - the alarms went off, everyone was locked in and told to lay on the ground. I'm not sure nor is he sure whatever caused that chaos, but he was alive and well to proceed.

After the scare, the Indian lady finally took his first interview. She focused alot on the fact that my last tax return was so little income because I was unemployed in 2011. He finally showed her a letter from my new employer this year and all was fine. Very basic questions other than that. Have you been to the US? Has she been here? How'd you meet? She actually never asked him for any of our evidence. I guess which is a good thing, but I put a lot of effort into that paperwork. LOL

So, he passed with her. On to the next one.

His second interview was with a middle aged American guy. He continued on by asking the same question about my income which had already been covered. Asked about how we met. My fiance said that we met through a mutual friend at Sherwin-Williams. Then, the officer said "oh wait, you worked at Sherwin-Williams. You didn't mention that." And my fiance obviously clarified things that the mutual friend and I had worked there. Sagar said he continued to take notes on his computer and he kept staring at him until he finally said that he had been conditionally approved. He informed him to turn his original receipt for his fees from ustraveldocs and a police certification vs the police report Sagar had brought to the interview to one of the document locations.

My fiance was confused if i were good. So, the officer took his passport and gave him a thumbs up that everything is going to be alright. So, now we're just waiting for the passport office to get him his police certification, then turn in the docs and receive his K-1 Visa in the mail.

Woohoo! Finally, the agony is over.
