Hello everyone. Thank you for all the reviews! It definitely helps calm one's nerves while waiting for the big day! I did have one question, how long does it take to get a police report in honduras? Are they given the same day or do you have to come back for it? Thank you in advance!

My fiancé had his interview 7/11/18 at 1:45. He arrived to the embassy around 12:30 and he went in around 1:15. He handed them all his paperwork and his interview was short. He was only interviewed for about 6 minutes and he was asked three things. 1. Where does your fiancée work? 2. Where did you meet your fiancée? 3. When was the last time your fiancée was here? And then they let him know he was approved. They also let him know that his visa would be sent via cargo express in five days.

My 20 year old stepson's interview was less than 10 minutes. His interview was scheduled at 10:15. They asked him for the required documents and the additional evidence to show proof of our relationship which were photos and letters. They asked him to take a seat and minutes later he was called for the interview and according to him the officer only asked him 2 questions. Who was petitioning him? and what was his father's name?. In just minutes the officer said "Visa is approved". I want to thank all you guys for all the help throughout this long journey. It wasn't easy but was obtainable.

We arrived at 9:15 for my husbands 10:15am. We parked next door to the embassy for 30L per hour. They directed us to the back of the line on the right side. We entered at about 10:15. . Went to first window where we gave all the documents required. The only evidence they asked for was about 15 pictures. (They did not ask for copies and eventually returned all originals to us) We waited about 15 minutes and were called in for the interview. The interviewer did the interview in Spanish when speaking with my husband.
Questions:
When did you meet?
Why do you want to go to the states?
Any problems with the police?
Have you ever entered the US?
The interviewer then asked me:
Have you been married before?
Does my mother know I have her tax documents? ( she is co-sponsor)
Do I speak Spanish? How did I learn Spanish?
What are our plans in the states?
He then said in Spanish. The visa is........ and then go... read complete review

My husband just got approved this morning and had a really good experience. I was unable to attend for several reasons, so I was super nervous and couldn’t wait to talk to him to find out how it went.
He arrived at 8:20 for his 9:30 appointment and got right in with no issues. He went to the first window and said they didn’t ask for very many documents. Just the police cert., long form BC, affidavit of support, medical packet, passport photos, pictures of us as a couple and I think that’s it. This is like half of what is on the check list from their website, but I’m not complaining. The lady also commented about how prepared and organized he was. Apparently a lot of people were disorganized and did not have many of the required documents, so my advice would be to print out the checklist and don’t get on a plane until you have everything you need. The only things you should have to do in Honduras are: medical exam, birth certificate and ... read complete review
