My review was almost identical to everyone else's.

I arrived at 7:20 for my 7:45 appointment and was out at 8:30.

K1 visas should get in the 'all other visas' line - it's much faster! After doing this, I received my ticket number and proceeded through security. All I had was my paperwork (I didn't actually need anything but my passport and appointment confirmation but I brought it all anyway), wallet and keys so no issues there.

I went into the large room and the ladies at the desk directed me straight to window 22. My fee was already paid, so he simply located me file, took my passport and asked me to sit down and wait for my number to be called.
After about 5 minutes I was called to window 20 where they took my biometrics and ran through the details of my application (names, addresses etc.).

Then I waited for about 15 minutes for my interview. While waiting, however, an extremely loud alarm started sounding, with a... read complete review

My appointment was at 7:45. I got in line at 7:20. The staff was super nice, relaxed and helpful, no problems at all!

The officer asked me when and how my fiance and I met and following that if we started seeing each other/dating right after that. She also asked if he came to visit me in Germany at all. Then she said everything looks good and I'm all set. It literally took about 5 minutes and there's no need to be nervous if you have nothing to hide.

The only thing I noticed was that people really don't inform themselves enough in advance. 4 People had their bags and cellphones and some girls had wallets which didn't get through security cause it looked like there could be a memory card in there somewhere! Just take a folder with your appointment confirmation letter and your passport, you don't need anything else. Don't wear belts or anything like that to make it easier for yourself and everyone else

So i won't go to much into detail with my review because it's pretty much the same as with all the others before me. I had today my Interview at 7.45 AM.

Got into the line gave the lady on Window 1 my passport she gave me a number, well at the Security check did we (me and the security guy) realize my braclett is a bluetooth one ..so he was like well you go now down the road to the kiosk and give it to them. I was like alright ..me jogging over --almost running back to the embassy :D. Made it in time to the lady on window 1 - through the security check - into a other check - over in the other building. Then Information (where u get a info sheet - what to do next), then followed the sheet. At first Cashier - then Fingerprints on a other window (the dude explains you everything in German / Cashier as well). Then maybe 15 to 20 minutes later - did the embassy lady called my name - (window 18 mostly). We had a nice conversation after I swore the oath.

She ... read complete review

I am not gonna go into details because my interview was like almost everyone else's. I had my appointment at 7:45 and I was out around 9:00 again. My interview questions were:
-How did you meet
-When have you met in person for the first time
-How many times has he been to Germany to see you
-How did he propose
That was it. My interview took 5 min max. Everyone at the embassy was very nice and friendly. All in all I had a very good experience.

Just like mostly everyone else who composed a review on here I had a very pleasant experience at Frankfurt embassy. I am not going to give too many details as my visit there went according to the same scheme as reviewers before me have described. The embassy staff is really friendly and were making jokes while I was passing the security check, which certainly cheered me up as I was a tad nervous.
After I was given my ticket, I had to wait about 20 minutes to be called to window 20 where general information was provided. Following that, I waited about 30 minutes for the actual interview, which itself took 2 minutes at a maximum. It was very helpful for me to read about questions other people had been asked, so those were mine:
How did you meet?
When did you meet for the first time in person?
When did your fiancé propse?
The only thing I thought was confusing was that I never knew which language to speak. The guy at the very first window outside the bu... read complete review
