I arrived at 12h45 for my 13h appointment. You take a ticket but don't worry if, at first, the ones labeled "A" don't appear on the screen and are not called. I went through three steps.
- The first lady was very nice. She was here to be sure I was attending my interview. She just asked for my convocation and my passport.
- During the second step, the lady checked my papers (earlier received from the NVC), asked if I had newer versions of the marriage certificate, the police record and the birth certificate. I gave her my pictures, the Chronopost envelop (I had to remove the "puffy" inside because it wouldn't go through the window). She didn't even ask me for the affidavit of support, which was supposed to be incomplete according to the convocation. I had problems with my DS 260 because my "paranoid" husband (as he calls himself since he started this visa journey!) saved a copy of the whole document but the website didn't give us any "sum up page". But app... read complete review

I had my interview on the 24th of October 2013 at the US Paris Embassy at 1.00 pm.
The security was more than friendly and made me laugh before entering into this impressive building.
I was really stressed and got super prepared with my big heavy binder full of proofs and documents. I sat in the big hall room with my waiting ticket and recognized a Visa Journey member. I dared talking to her, introduced myself, and that's how I met a new friend. It was so good to not feel alone anymore in this important step of my Visa journey.
I was first called to a booth by a nice woman to give the asked documents one by one and make sure that I had everything. (Passport, Confirmation DS160, Pictures, Payment Mandat Compte Receipt, Birth Certificate, Police Certificate, Affidavit of Support etc... etc...). She scanned my finger prints, probably for the biometric system code to put in the Visa. She told me that everything was good for her and that I will soon be called to anoth... read complete review
