Hi so here is what happened today at Cairo Embassy in Egypt, well my interview was at 7:30 am. I arrived there at 5:00 am. I was the first one who got there then they opened the doors at 7:00 am and let us all in.
First they called my number for checking the papers with an egyptian employee.
where she gave me some papers like the cover sheets and the copy of my birth certificate also gave me a paper to go and pay the DHL. I went there and got the dhl reciept and sat down to be called again for the interview.
Around 11:05 they called my number to be interviewed, the consul was avery nice american man, he first asked me if I swear that all the details on my papers are true and I said I do. Then asked me to sign the Ds-230 part II. Then asked me some questions and I replied very quickly and specifically to them.
Where did you and your husband meet?
When was your wedding?
Did you had a big wedding party?
How he has travelled to US?

The interview was smooth. We answered a few questions about how we met and were married. I spoke, my husband filled in some. We ave been married for four years, my son was with us, and I am pregnant. We brought many thing they didn't ask to see. Dad will co-sponsor and submitted more documents on grandmother's health..she s living with us from US, and technically that is our proof of domicile (a bit different).
Awaiting finalization of AP (which he had for his B1 as well, it took 6 weeks, and we will see! Inshallah Khayr.

My husbands interview was February 12 (yesterday).
Me and my husband are both from Palestine, Gaza, and hes been in egypt for the past 3 months waiting for the interview. My husband is 22 and I am 20, I met him when I was 17 and he was 19 at the time.
When he arrived they took his cellphone and iPad.
He took a number and was called by an egyption lady who asked for his medical, passport, and photo. My husband thought she was very nice and also started a conversation with her, she was in her 30s. He waited 3 hours to be called by a CO, She only asked him three questions:
-Whos Sarah? A: My wife
-When did you get married? A: July 31, 2011
-How did you meet? A: My mom and her mom are close friends and our family lives next to her family and I see her every year she comes to Gaza. First time I saw her was 2009.
Then my husband asked her (CO) if she was from egypt she said yes, my husband said she looked musl... read complete review
