I arrived at the park at 6:45, right at that time the large group of applicants starting heading toward one corner of the park to gather around the consulate official who began to read out 400 names. I expected to hear roughly 200 names after reading past reviews and ofcourse expected to hear my finace name called, but that did not happen initially and here is why.
I was not aware that the 400 names being called were names for temporary visas and especially when the official started off by saying "I am calling all names despite your interview time." So after an hour, he called all names and then asked " is there anyone here for a permanent (definitiva) or fiance visa." My finace and I were then told to walk down the block over to the first entry gate and have my finace turn over his carnet De identificacion.
The first entry gate took his identification and we were told to walk back toward the park and stand by the sign the states "Sali... read complete review

Both my fiancé and I were presented for interview on 1/21/14 (we were interviewed by two male officers). We provided all the documents required, 100 pages of emails, text, photos, phone calls, my two boarding passes visiting my fiancé considering the US-Cuba embargo. We thought all went well at the interview, but at the end of the interview we were told the consulate will call my fiancé in two weeks in the mean time he was give a white sheet of paper saying to bring a new police report on 1/29/14 even though what he presented at the interview was not expired and he has clear report. So when he returned his new police report on the 29th of January they took his passport as well as the new clear police report, at that time they told him to go back a week later. When he went a week later, they returned his passport back and told him they will give him call, but they didn’t say when. We waited a month and half no phone call from the consulate office, then I contacted my congressman ... read complete review

My fiance arrived at the park near the Interests Section around 6:15am. I was unable to attend the interview with my finace so he filled me in on his experience. He heard his name called shortly after arriving and showed the officer his national ID card and was directed to a line to enter the Interests Section office. He was able to enter the Interest Section around 9am and was taken to the first room to check that he did not have any electronics, then to the second room where he paid for the visa and recieved a receipt to give to the immirgation officer and another window where he turned in all the required documents as well as additional supporting evidence of our relationship. He was then given a card with a number and color. He waited inside until about 3:00. He said that he was one of the last called and watched many who were denied, which made him and the person sitting next to him very nervous. The room was divided into those that were there for immigration visa and travel ... read complete review

My fiance and i arrived at the park near the Interests Section before 7am. There was a man standing on a stool/chair in one corner of the park calling out names. Once my fiance's name was called, he gave them his ID card and were directed to another line to wait to enter the Interests Section office. While in this line, there was an officer that came by to do a quick check of our documents and gave me a pass to enter the office with my fiance. The first group of people were taken into the office around 7:45. We were not in the first group and were told we would be entering the office with the second group around 10am. Around 9:50am, the officer return and began calling names of those in the second group. We walked in a line for 1-2 blocks to the entrance of the office. After going through security - we were sent to a waiting room with several windows. where we were given a card with a number and color on it that served as our interview ID number. After waiting about 15 minutes, our ID ... read complete review
