Was greeted by the interviewer with a smile. Was asked only 3 questions: where I will be living, what my fiancé does for a living, and what will I be doing?

I was not aware that Cambodia was a high risk country. According to the immigration attorney she said I don't have to attend her interview it's only for the beneficial. She was wrong. According to my fiancée. She was not treating fairly at the her interviews. One white interviewer was with a Cambodia translator. Their are some negative between my fiancée and the interviewer. I wish was there with her so she can get more respect not to be scare. Now I know that I can come to her interview too. It look like he did took avenge my fiancée. Please pass him this message. I missed my girl.

We arrived at the Embassy at 6:15 am and were number fourteen and fifteen in line. The guards started letting everyone in at about 7:10. The US citizen is allowed to be at the interview. You are allowed to bring a cell phone with you, however it will be held at the guards station until after your interview. The guards will also take your ID card and hold it until you are finished.

At 7:30 an announcement was made to line up at window number 1 to receive your queue number. There was no order to the line, just a mad rush to get to the front of the line. Within five minutes they started calling numbers to go to the appropriate window.

The first window we went to took in all the documents that we had brought. In the appointment letter that you will receive is a list of the documents to bring and what order to have them in. As long as you have all the documents this process takes about five minutes. I had two issues: one, my ... read complete review

We got the embassy around 6AM and began waiting in line on the left side. We were the second case. A few moments later we notice that another line was forming on the right side. We were confused and people we saying that the left line we were in is for those who are planning to visit and the right line is for those who intend to immigrate. So we moved over to the right line. By then we were like #4-5. Then moments later it happened again and we switched to the left line quickly and remained in #4. We were holding our breath hoping this was the right decision and after what seems like forever, the guard came out and confirm that there is only ONE LINE! 7:30AM came and the door began to open and they let a few people in at a time, so to not hold traffic inside the check bag area. Nothing personal is allowed (bags, phones) beside the case. Passed security check and off to the next door where we entered and had to first seat in an orderly fashion (first come first serve) because none of th... read complete review

Interview set for 7:30am. Arrived at Embassy at 6:40am, already quite a decent queue. Guards started letting us in at 7am but once inside the consular section, processing would not begin prior to 7:30am.
Get your ticket from Window 1 and settle in to wait.
First call is to give your paperwork. A few things I noted:
1. Form DS-156 and DS-156K not required in duplicate, only 1 copy each.
2. Do not staple your photo on DS-156, just give the 2 photos loose.
3. Despite stating on their instructions that original copies of documents could be substituted for copies, the lady refused this (even when shown the instructions) and retained my original police records.
4. X-rays from medical not required, only sealed medical folder.
After this, you pay the visa fee.
Second call was for finger-prints.
Third call was the interview.
My questions were how did you meet, what does your fiancee do for work & where is she from (which stat... read complete review
