Our interview was scheduled for January 16, 2007, but when he got there he was told that another copy of a certain document (signed by me) was needed, so they gave him a date 2 weeks later to come back with everything. When the new date finally arrived, all went smoothly. After a 4 hour wait in the waiting room, my fiance was called in to interview. He was asked to write my complete name down, and to explain how we met. After that they told him congradulations and to come back in two days to pick up his passport. Easy!

We were in and out in less than 2 hours. We were 4th to be called to hand in our documents in order, and 2nd or 3rd (I can't remember) to called for the interview. We didn't wait long for either. The guy who interviewed us would be called "antipatico." He wasn't like so friendly, but he wasn't mean. He only asked where and when we met, and why we got married so quickly. He very quickly glazed over the papers, and then handed us a "green card," a green index card with a date on it to pick up the visa. They didn't even look to see if we had all the proper documents. We were missing a state police certificate from within the last 5 years time period....I don't know if they even cared. But we for sure didn't bring it up.
We arrived at 2:30pm on the following business day, Monday Feb 12. Once 3pm came, we only waited like 10 min before they called us in to pick up the visa!!! It was the happiest, most emotional time of my life.

I went to the interview with Rey, my fiance. We arrived by the time the doors opened at 7:20. We had to leave a backpack we brought with security, so fyi it's better to bring maybe two large purses if you need to bring things. We took a number and waited til they handed out the order of docs right at 8. Then they checked our paperwork and needed Rey to make 2 copies of his police reports at the copy shop around the corner. He came back and we handed them in, no problem, to the nice Brazilian woman in room #1. The actual interview began around quarter to 10 and we were the fifth people interviewed. Before us went two couples, both approved, and two K3 girls who were alone, who both got the red slip (denied or just 221(g) I don't know).
Our interview was about ten minutes long. First Rey signed the documents and did his fingerprints. Then the guy, who looked resentful of being dragged out of bed to be there, started asking questions. I did a lot of the talking because Rey... read complete review

The interview was in Portuguese so I could not understand all that was being said. But I could tell by the tone of their voices and the look on Rosana’s face something was wrong. (I never had seen Rosana look like this before.) That is when I asked the consul about what they speaking about? The consul told me she had lied on her application for the tourist visa that she was still in relationship with Lais’s father at the time she applied for the tourist visa.
The consul tried to trick me as well with this statement. I spoke to Rosana about what the consul said to me and she explained to me what he was speaking about. I then questioned the consul and it was clear he only made this statement to me because she never mentioned she was coming to USA to visit me at the time she applied for her tourist visa. And that is when I became upset with him and told him she was not lying; she only did not give full details about everything due to the problem woman have getting... read complete review
