The entry at JFK was nice and professional. The whole procedure took about 15 minutes. Just when the officer gave me my package and passport back I asked him about the work authorization stamp - ( I said... rent in NY is so expensive)

JFK did stamp passport but it took about two hours to receive it. There were a lot of people... If you plan to get the stamp, make sure you have a long layover in JFK.. such as four hours or more...

Entering the U.S was no problem and it took less than twenty minutes to go through customs and immigration conttol.

JFK - No questions - comments or a welcome. Smooth as glass.

Tip: Have your 'envelope' in hand and visible when starting in line - someone will come and put you in the US Citizen line. Saves a bunch of time.

They didn't ask my fiance any questions and they gave him an EAD stamp for six months vs. the usual 3 months.
