The entry at JFK was nice and professional. The whole procedure took about 15 minutes. Just when the officer gave me my package and passport back I asked him about the work authorization stamp - ( I said... rent in NY is so expensive)
and he placed the beautiful red stamp (which is valid for 3 months) right into my I 94.
It's really important that you ask the officer to do that - if I hadn't asked that wouldn't have happened.
