I think because of COVID 19, there is less staff in the airports. Immigration took over an hour in Miami. They asked my fiance, where is he going to live ? My husband said it Was fairly easy. No issue at all. Just asked him a couple of questions then the CBP official said “welcome to the USA” he was actually immigrating with our dog so we were a little concerned about her but he said that he had absolutely no issue.

Went through the typical immigration line, produced my K1 visa and then got sent to a secondary inspection. Had a little wait of 20-30 mins in a waiting area while they processed a few other people and finally got to me and it took about 10 minutes going over my paperwork and attaching my entry visa... read complete review

This could not have been any smoother and less stressful. The whole process took about 30 minutes, including the "line," and it left us with plenty of time to eat and relax and celebrate before our connecting flight.
