I am a GC holder.
Miami Immigration was easy; for the first time, they asked me (as a GC holder) to scan my finger prints (left hand, right hand, thumbs). None of the "usual" questions were asked (How long have you been abroad, where do you live / work / etc.).

The first officer just asked a few simple questions and the person who actually processed us, didn't ask much. All in all, it was pretty smooth.

Very long wait. It was almost 3 hours after Svetlana's plane landed that she and her dog finally emerged from customs. They treated her OK, but she was disappointed that the dog was left unattended in Miami (she says during the layover in France airline personnel were always checking on the dog). ... read complete review

Point of entry was easy, other than the fact that we were stuck in immigration because of people ahead of us getting deported etc, etc. We got there, waited on the citizen line and were treated very nicely by the immigration officer.
