Very easy, straight forward interview. We had two officials in the room, one interviewing, the other observing. She went over the I-485, asked and confirmed what is already been filed. She then asked how we meet, what made him to decide to propose, how long do we know each other. She said do you have any photos, I showed our wedding and traditional wedding photos. She said any more paperwork since you filed, we gave her our new apartment lease. They said, congratulations, gave us a paper that says, congratulations you are approved, your card should arrive within 30 days. Very easy pleasant. Honestly, the real painful part was the paperwork and application. The interview was a piece of cake.

Card Production Aug 5th. The interview was alright, we could have come more prepared and gave copies of our wedding pictures, but somehow forgot. We did bring our wedding album and showed it to the officer. We offered to give it, but officer was fine with a flip through of the album. It's probably the best piece of evidence we brought in, as it was designed and decorated beyond a normal photo album. The officer was stern but not intimidating. Since we're a young couple there were some questions about my age. The interview was over in 20 minutes. Officer said to wait for a decision in the mail.

Our appointment was at 8:25AM but we got called in at 9:00AM. The officer introduced herself and swore us in. Then she asked for passport, EAD, drivers license. Then she asked how my husband got his citizenship. Then she verified the i485, asked when and where was my POE, and verified the g325. She was very thorough and double checked all my answers with the one written on the forms. She was also taking a lot of notes at the same time. Then she asked my husband when and where we met? When, where and who were present at the wedding? did we go on trips together? she asked if we have more proof then she made some copies. she also quickly went over the scrapbook of our pictures. finally she handed me a paper and checked the box. FOR FURTHER REVIEW.. The interview took 30 mins. omg! i felt so relieved the interview was over but at the same time very nervous. it means i still have to wait! I was worried! then at around 4:00PM i got an email and txt notification about an update in my status.... read complete review

I wish I'd knew what to expect before having the interview! Then my worried head would have been calmer, my mood more stable and my own stress tolerance reduced by about 99%!
There was a short line when we got there, about two people ahead of us, so maybe two minutes of waiting, the officer greeting in the door was smiley and friendly, the police men standing with the metal detector, not really but that was okey. Upstairs there was one lady before us, then we gave our note for interview and was told to sit down by the nice lady working there. Our appointment wasn't until 01.55 and it was just after 1 when we got there, so plenty of time! Our interviewing officer actually cam out and called my name around 1.40 but just then Jonathan went to the bathroom so she said she would come back. Pretty exactly at 1.55 we were called again and walked with her to her office. Before seated we were asked to hold our right hands up and swear the pledge. When seated she asked us to prese... read complete review

We had our interview appointment scheduled today - since we had to turn our cellphones off I am not quite sure what time it was when we got called to the entrance to be picked up by the interviewing IO.
The IO's first impression was very professional and informed us about the necessary swearing in prior to sitting down and getting the interview started.
At first we were asked for all official ID Documention, both of our passports, proof of citizenship of my wife, my EAD card, my birth certificate. Was asked a few times about my original passport/I-94 I entered with but had to tell that I unfortunately no more have it (no explaining why from my end needed).
Then my turn - verified a bunch of info from the I-485 AOS form, at times there was slight confusion, like when asked about my history of entering the US, but in the end all got it straightened out. Was asked the standard questions about terrorism, affiliations, and convictions, verified our ad... read complete review
