Our interview was today 09.29.2015 at 1315. We gathered all the paperwork that showed both of our names on them the week before and had them ready to go for the interview. We got to the office at 12:45 (exactly 30 min before as the form stated) we checked in and were told to go upstairs and wait for our name to be called. Golbarg was called in and I went along with her at about 1315.
At first the Immigration Officer (IO) asked for both of our IDs and quickly reviewed them and asked if this was our current address. Next she told Golbarg that the next few questions are for her and then she will ask about the two of us. She opened her i-485 form to the questions page and directly asked about 7-10 questions from the list and added "Have you voted or attempted to vote in the US?" and "Have you ever been a US Citizen before?"and "Have you been arrested since you submitted this form". All of Golbarg's answers as before were "No". Next she opened it up and looked at our form and... read complete review

My husband was adjusting from K-1 visa, and the interview was short and sweet. We were directed upstairs to the waiting area, and only waited about 15 minutes to be called into the interview.
The immigration officer (IO) was very nice. She asked us for our IDs, put us under oath, and only asked a few questions: how we met, when we met, when we got engaged, when we visited each other, and whether we had children together (just for documentation purposes, not a judgy thing). She wrote down all the dates we gave.
Then she asked for the evidence we brought, so I showed the pictures, joint bank account, joint health insurance, and joint tax return, and she took the copies of all of those. I also offered to show some lesser evidence, like a letter from my dad saying we lived together & some mail my husband got with our address on it. The IO read the letter but didn't keep a copy, and wasn't interested in the mail. She didn't even want to see our marriage cert.... read complete review

We had on our interview on Oct. 29th. Our appointment time was 2:15 p.m. It's pretty easy to get to the Immigration Office and there is ample on street parking. You will need to be prepared to pay for parking. There is a lot of construction going on around the Immigration Office but that didn't hinder our ability to find a parking spot close by.
We checked in at 2 p.m. and then proceed to the waiting room on floor 2. We were called back at 2:45 p.m. The interview was very easy and painless. I am an extremely detailed person so our folder that the IO had with our visa journey from K1- AOS was filled with proof of our 5 year dating relationship and our 7 month marriage. He had reviewed it in detail before we arrived which I believe is why the process was so quick and easy. Like others have said in their review, I felt as if we were approved before we sat down. I did however bring a large folder containing all the documentation listed on our appointment letter. The only ite... read complete review

We got to the USCIS office at 7 am and out appointment was 8 am. It is a very clean and relaxed office and it was nice that there was not much traffic on the 7 mile drive there. One more hour and morning traffic would have been horrible.
Anyway everyone was friendly and promptly at 8 am the agent came out and introduced himself. Very friendly and courteous. We did the oath and asked a few questions, maybe 2 or 3 in addition to verifying things with my wife that she had checked off on the I-485. He did not ask me for hardly any docs but I volunteered the life insurance policy and a few other documents. We felt that we were approved before we got there. They had reviewed our things that were previously submitted and did not need anything else. We volunteerd a our picture album and he seemed to enjoy the pictures. We had a picture of my wife in one picture next to a life like figure of President Obama. So it appeared my wife and President Obama were standing next to one ano... read complete review
