My wife and I were able to actually walk to our appointment since we coincidentally live in the neighborhood ... we made an InfoPass appointment because we hadn't yet heard on our application for Lifting of Conditions, and it had been more than 3 months since the estimate for CR89 timeline from the VSC.
Only one other couple ahead of us, we were seen within 10 minutes of our InfoPass appointment, and easily got a 1 yr extension stamped in my wife's passport. The clerk handed my wife the citizenship packet and said "Here's the next step, sweetie ..." as we were leaving ... a nice touch!
As luck would have it, her 10-yr I-551 approval came less than 2 weeks later anyway :-)
Very positive experience overall - even the security guards were friendly.
Yet another reason to love our (new) hometown!

We were interviewed by a lady who asked very basic questions about us and our relationship. There were no trick questions and we were not asked details about our life or household.
Among the questions were:
How did you meet?
When did you become a couple?
Did you cohabitate before marriage?
When and how did you get engaged?
When did you decide to get engaged?
Do you know each other's family?
What are your plans as a couple - kids???
Did you have any reservations, since your husband has been divorced twice?
Did you suspect your wife married you for immigration purposes only?
Nothing was out of the ordinary and the interviewer was extremely nice!!!

We had our AOS interview at the Pittsburgh office. I (beneficiary) was adjusting from F1.
Our appointment was at 9am. We arrived about 10 mins early; they have their own parking lot which seemed spacious enough, so no need to try to find downtown parking. There's also two parking garages nearby.
The waiting room had about six people in it total and we waited about 15 mins before we got called in. The interviewing officer was named David and was very friendly, but professional. He started by swearing us both in. Then he went through some details from my I-485, confirmed my date of birth, address, phone number etc. He asked us how we met, why I decided to go to school here, how long I'd been in school and if I was going to continue with my education. He then asked my husband what he did for a living and asked us both if we'd been married before.
We then talked about our wedding, if our parents attended (his did; mine did not) and why mine did ... read complete review

My husband and I had our interview this morning at the Pittsburgh office for his AOS. We arrived at 9am for our 9:30 interview, and were seen promptly at 9:30. They had a decent crowd in the waiting room, but they were right on time. It was a great experience. After we were both sworn in, we showed our passports and proceeded with some of the questions. Very relaxed and the interviewer did make us feel very comfortable. We did not have to show even one piece of paperwork or the photos we brought. Just answered some questions and talked about how we met. Very simple...and a very good experience. After 25 minutes the interview said welcome to America and handed us a booklet on tips for new immigrants. He should have his greencard in a couple weeks.
