My wife and I were able to actually walk to our appointment since we coincidentally live in the neighborhood ... we made an InfoPass appointment because we hadn't yet heard on our application for Lifting of Conditions, and it had been more than 3 months since the estimate for CR89 timeline from the VSC.
Only one other couple ahead of us, we were seen within 10 minutes of our InfoPass appointment, and easily got a 1 yr extension stamped in my wife's passport. The clerk handed my wife the citizenship packet and said "Here's the next step, sweetie ..." as we were leaving ... a nice touch!
As luck would have it, her 10-yr I-551 approval came less than 2 weeks later anyway :-)
Very positive experience overall - even the security guards were friendly.
Yet another reason to love our (new) hometown!
