We interviewed with officer Foster. The interview lasted no more than 10 minutes and was easier than our most optimistic expectations.
She was extremely friendly and asked a few basic questions in conversational style. She did not request any of the heaps of evidence we brought in, though we did volunteer our strongest piece of evidence: SN's (the petitioner) pregnancy. Some questions about, say, travel time to Canada or about SN's due date were asked in multiple forms in what I suspect was fishing for inconsistencies, but on the whole it felt like the decision to approve had been made before we even walked in, based just on our case file.
The experience was far more friendly than just about at any other government bureau I've been to (and certainly more so than the rude service at the Dunkin Donuts near the office...)

My husband and I just attended our green card interview this past Wednesday. I would say we had a good experience with the officer. He wasn't particularly friendly but it wasn't tense, he was just doing his job and going through the questions. He started with my husband, asking him his full name and birth date, where was he born. He then asked him several "date" questions, such as:
- When did you arrive in the U.S?
- When did you become acquainted with your wife?
- When did we first meet in person?
- Was there a proposal? When did that happen?
- How many visits did we have? What was the date range of these visits?
Also..
- Where have you lived since moving to the U.S?
- Have you traveled outside the U.S since arriving?
- Did we go on a honeymoon?
- Do you work? When did you start working there? What do you do?
He then proceeded to ask my husband the questions from the I-485.

We went to office,IO officer didnot ask any questions for marriage. IO officer only wanted joint documents tax, account, photos , utility, birth certificate, passport etc. We gave all docs we had and IO officer kept scribbling notes on doc and asked bio and question from 485. IO officer just said you will get reply in mail. Not sure what to infer ?It has been few days no change in status.Any suggestion in how many days we can expect reply or status update. Wait is very stressful. Our case already had been very slow it took us more than 3 years to get interview date, not sure if its case with everyone else.
I just want to get inputs from others in how many days did they hear back ? Is delay in response is worrisome ?

Arrived at 10:20 AM for our 10:45 AM interview appointment.
We immediately went through security and were directed to the second floor to wait for our names to be called.
At about 10:45 AM, IO Moore called us in. He was very friendly and made the interview feel more like a conversation than a rigid interview. At several points, he reassured us that it wasn't an antagonistic process or interview.
He first asked for my passport and my husband's driver's license. After that, we started going over the information in the I-485. Name, date and place of birth, social, parents' names, most of the yes/no questions, wedding date, my husband's name, etc.
After that, he asked us if we wanted to add any other documents to our file. We gave him the following:
* 2019 tax transcript,
* utility bills with both our names on it (gave 3 most recent each of PECO and PGW),
* proof of apartment insurance,
* proof of joint de... read complete review

1. Parking can be a little tricky in the area. We decided to park across the street (paid parking).
2. Upon arriving, we went through the regular screening procedures.
3. The waiting room is spacious and relatively uncrowded. We were called in about fifteen minutes after arriving.
4. The officer was relatively neutral. Not curt, but not overly friendly either. The questions were:
a. How did you meet?
b. Tell me about your wedding?
5. The officer then asked if we had anything else we wanted to share. I showed him a photo album. He looked at the first page, and said he didn't need additional evidence.
6. Afterwards, we went over biographical questions to ensure everything was correct on the application.
7. The officer said we were approved. He mentioned that he would submit our application to his supervisor with a recommendation for approval, and that we would receive an approval notice within a few days.
