We had Craig's AOS interview on January 5, 2006. It went SO well that we wondered what all of our worry was over. We felt they especially went out of their way for us, since we had a SUITCASE full of evidence, and yet I had somehow managed to lose the one thing we thought we HAD to have..the request to appear for the interview! After a 4 1/2 hour drive(one way) and just hoping we could get in anyway, we arrived about 4 hours early and spoke to the 4 security guards just inside...they said they would handle the situation(no letter)and to come back about 45 min. before our interview time. We wandered around the area a bit and when we went back one of the guards went upstairs and cleared us, we waited about 20 minutes, and got called back. The interviewer was jokey yet thorough..he got copies of a loan we have together, utility bills and a couple of other things...asked Craig the normal questions, and also asked him our address, phone number, things like that. We went to the office on 7/8/05 to get Ying's biometrics done as a walk-in. It was about 11:15 on a Friday morning. Only 1 employeee, 1 guard and 1 cleaning person was there. We asked to get the biometrics done. The employee hesitated then said ok but that we had to wait for the newly waxed floor to dry. Forty minutes later everything was taken care of. We felt that we were interupting something important even though the only thing happening was the cleaning person buffing the floor.

Hi Everyone!
Abdeslam and I just had our AOS interview this morning, which lasted about 5 minutes in the Immigration Officers' office!!
We waited about 15/20 minutes in the waiting area.....she called our name and this is what she asked for.
1) Our I.Ds'
2) verified our address
3) Asked Abdeslam how we met
4) She asked for Abdeslams' employment letter (not mine, which was a good thing!)
5) Asked me if I was still with the same employer and I said "no, I'm currently unemployed".......she said, "that is ok because she will just use my previous employer" (WHEW)
6) Asked Abdeslam all the standard questions on the 485....was he involved in any terrorist activity? blah, blah, blah
5) took his EAD(glad we spent the money on that...NOT)
6) stamped his passport and said that he will recieve his GC in about two weeks!
All in all, I must say that everyone that we talked to at the Milwaukee U... read complete review
