Hi Everyone!
Abdeslam and I just had our AOS interview this morning, which lasted about 5 minutes in the Immigration Officers' office!!
We waited about 15/20 minutes in the waiting area.....she called our name and this is what she asked for.
1) Our I.Ds'
2) verified our address
3) Asked Abdeslam how we met
4) She asked for Abdeslams' employment letter (not mine, which was a good thing!)
5) Asked me if I was still with the same employer and I said "no, I'm currently unemployed".......she said, "that is ok because she will just use my previous employer" (WHEW)
6) Asked Abdeslam all the standard questions on the 485....was he involved in any terrorist activity? blah,blah,blah
5) took his EAD(glad we spent the money on that...NOT)
6) stamped his passport and said that he will recieve his GC in about two weeks!
All in all, I must say that everyone that we talked to at the Milwaukee USCIS office was very,very friendly.......WAY TO GO MILWAUKEE!!
Oh BTW, she did ask for utility bills and such that had both of our names.....that's it....simple and painless!
