It was fairly simple. A 20 min process. The interview went very smoothly. The man that my husband and I spoke with was very nice and he waived me having to prove legal entry into the United States because I did not have a I94. The only thing is my husband and i have not been married for 2 years yet so I still have another form to fill out which means more money. the form which is the I-751.

My husband went in for an Infopass appointment to figure out why a hold had been put on his EAD. I let him off at the front door while I went and parked across the street. By the time I had gotten out of my car, crossed the street, and walked to the door he was coming back out. It had taken less than ten minutes. The people were very nice, but not that helpful. They couldn't tell him anything. Still, less than a week later, we had notice that the EAD had been ordered so something must have helped.

What a joke this entire event was! The post office on the same street as we live on, refused to deliver my mail. So I did not receive my biometrics letter and when I went to the L'ville office in December of 2004, 90 days after filing my EAD, I was told that I couldn't get the interm EAD because I hadn't had my biometrics. Couldn't get my biometrics because the letters were being sent back as undeliverable, and the L'ville office couldn't re-produce the biometrics letter. What a mess!!
It took until Feb of 2005 to get my biometrics letter and then didn't get my EAD until June of 2005.
Finally got my letter to go for my PRC interview on Nov 29, 2005, and when I arrived in L'ville, after a 3 hour drive, I was told that they couldn't do the interview, because my file had been "EXPIDITED" to California!!! California then sent a letter saying that I had to get ANOTHER medical, because they had given my application a new received date and it was more than 12 months since ... read complete review

The interview went pretty well . We were called into office about 5 min after our appt time and were interviewed by an elderly man who was fairly friendly. He interviewed me first ( the petitioner) , then called my spouse into the room with me and interviewed him. All in all he asked us about 5 questions each : current address, descibe some of the photos, have u taken any trips together?, when was the last time you visited ur father/ father-in-law?+ how long did u stay there during that visit?, rent amt for our house?, who attended your wedding? , and that was all. The total interview time, including both of us was about 20 minutes. Then he told us that he could not approve us at this time , due to a pending FBI namecheck, which could take anywhere from 2 weeks to 2 yrs,but he did remove Abdul's I-94 from his passport. Then he chatted with us about Ky history for about 10 min. lol , and we left .We were pretty relieved all in all, considering no RFEs and he did say we would be ap... read complete review
