The interview went pretty well . We were called into office about 5 min after our appt time and were interviewed by an elderly man who was fairly friendly. He interviewed me first ( the petitioner) , then called my spouse into the room with me and interviewed him. All in all he asked us about 5 questions each : current address, descibe some of the photos, have u taken any trips together?, when was the last time you visited ur father/ father-in-law?+ how long did u stay there during that visit?, rent amt for our house?, who attended your wedding? , and that was all. The total interview time, including both of us was about 20 minutes. Then he told us that he could not approve us at this time , due to a pending FBI namecheck, which could take anywhere from 2 weeks to 2 yrs,but he did remove Abdul's I-94 from his passport. Then he chatted with us about Ky history for about 10 min. lol , and we left .We were pretty relieved all in all, considering no RFEs and he did say we would be approved if nothing changed.
