Our appoinment was scheduled Monday May 16 at 1:00. We arrived at about 12:00. The security line up outside the building was not long. We were in the building in about a minute. We waited for our lawyer and went to the waiting room at 12:30. There didn't seem to be too many people in the waiting room but our lawyer said that it was a slow day. He saw all the IOs as they called in the couples and families and told us who was a good officer to have, who was nice, who was mean. We waited for a little over two hours. The waiting was the worse part. I was so hungry! Our lawyer was impatient and asked a guy behind the windows who would be our IO and found out that we would be interviewed by a really nice guy! Finally we were called in! My husband and I were so nervous even though we knew everything would be fine. There was some small chat with our lawyer and IO which lightened up the mood and then we got sworn in and sat down. Our lawyer gave the IO our documents: passports, birth certificat... read complete review

Went very smooth. Interviewer went through all our documents and check latest Tax Return. They wanted to see all documents that had our names on it together, like, tax return, bank statements, any utilities, health insurance, etc. etc.
They took photocopies of our pictures together, and took my wife's EAD card away, since she was approved and will be receiving her green card.
Whole process took about 10-15 minutes for the interview.
They just asked when and where we first met. No other questions.

I thought our interview went really smooth last week. But after the interview our lawyer was given a piece of paper from the IO. Please inquire after 30 days. \"An adjudicative review is required of your case is needed, No additional required information is from you at this time.\" The IO was telling our lawyer that this was just for formality and for us to use to follow up on. Our lawyer was saying that within a week we will get a decission and not to worry about it. The IO was telling us that there was no problem for me that we will get approve and that she believes our marriage was true. So should I worry about this?
Here is a summary of our interview experience:
Got to LA office and waited for our lawyer in the lobby. Lawyer arrive and we all went up together on the sixth floor, was redirected back to the basement, they were doing renovations. Got to the basement, pack with people and our lawyer handed our appointment paper over. Within half an hour I ... read complete review

My interview was scheduled at the Dept. of Homeland Security Building in downtown L.A ... at 11:00am
We arrived there around 10:00 am and had to find parking around the area since there's no parking on the building, we found a parking lot about 4 blocks from the building, it was $6.
The line for checking your bags was short, only took us about 5 mins to go through, My wife wanted to bring her purse but i told her not to, and to just bring her wallet and the folder with all our papers, while on the line they send someone back to drop off their camera (NO CAMERAS ALLOWED) which made for an amazing I Told You So to my wife (since she carries a camera on her purse)
After that we went to the Eight floor handed over the interview notice which the security guard handed over to a clerk, he told us to sit down and wait until they called our names, We were called in, at around 12:30 (waiting time 1 hour and 30 minutes) we were greeted by a nice offic... read complete review

So, we arrived at the Los Angeles service center at about 9:15am as our appointment was at 10:15. It took about 30-40 mins to get into the building as there was a very long line up. We went upstairs and gave our interview notice to an officer that told us to have a seat and wait till our names were called.
We waited for about an hour and fifteen minutes till the officer finally called my name. There were about 30 people in the room waiting to be interviewed. Some went in and came out in about 15 minutes. One young couple went in together and then a few minutes later the husband came outside to wait, they had been separated. He sat across from us for an hour. I could see his lips moving and he was praying under his breath. He was actually still waiting when we left.
Anyways, so, the officer calls my name and we go into her office. She swears us in and has us sit down. She was polite but all business and had a slight Eastern European accent that was a bit ha... read complete review
