Our appointment was Nov. 7th 2011 2:30p.m. At 300 N. Los Angeles St. in downtown L.A. We parked our car private parking lot across the alameda St. ($6 all day).
There was no line (only took 3min.) to go through security check point. Room 1001 was not that busy and soon after we arrived, one officer came and asked us for the appointment letter. He took 4 couples to 4th floor, and again, took three other couples to other waiting. Anyhow, around 3:15, one IO called my wife's name, and led us to her room. She was polite, but you can feel very firm and professional back-bone from her. We had sworn to say all the truth nothing but truth. The IO asked to my wife all those things such as have you convicted any crime, joined any militia, communist party bla bla bla bla-answers were all no. The IO asked my wife current address, date of birth, and then asked our papers. Documents? Ah, o.k. here we go, we show her Lease agreement with names on, Insurance copy, Bank statements. The IO asked ... read complete review

We had our AOS interview from K1 last week October 17, 2011. we had a good deal in the parking lot we found it was 8 dollars/whole day. It's on the left side of the LCIS building. Then unfortuantley their wee so many people there and then we waited and waited. Our original time to be interviewed was 10:15 but we were interviewed past 11am. Then she interviwed us about basic information . We thought it was ok but then the decision was to wait for 180 days. T_T
The IO looked nice but we could sense she was little bit strict and serious type.
Hubby had an ex alien wife,a Chinese, then they got divorced and then he filed a visa for her neighbor in China just top pissed her off then he canceled it right away. The USCIS said that it was canceled. I just hope that it won't be denied just ecause of that! I do hope so. So here we are again , back to waiting stage!

We parked right across the street at the Los Angeles Mall (that's what it was called). The parking fee is $16 max for the day.I thought it was well worth it in the heat. There wasn't a line to get in the security. Our appt was in room 8509. There was a sign that said to place our interview letter in a tray, ring the bell and wait to be called in the waiting room. A nice elderly lady came out, asked if we were waiting for an attorney. I stated we were not and the lady made a comment about us being there early. (Our appt was at 1p and we got there at 12:45p) We were called in around 1:15p and the interview took about 15 mins. My hubby was asked basic personal information: address, where was he born, mother and fathers name, DOB, if he worked, contact number, did we have kids together or separate, any joint accts together, wanted to see wedding pics and any other pic together. We were told we were approved and that was it! I was so excited it was short and simple.

I didn't realize there was an option to review, this is quite late.
We were interviewed in December 2009. My wife and I had an appointment of of 1:30pm but we were not seen until almost 4pm (we were the last couple left in the waiting room, even the security guard felt sorry for us). The questions were brief, the IO spent the most time explaining what it means to have conditional PR status. The first question the IO asked my wife made me feel dismayed, he said, "you can speak English ok right?" I was thinking he did not review our file at all, where the biographical information would have shown that my wife was from Australia and she completed her secondary schooling and two university degrees and multiple professional certifications, which would have been difficult to do without any English language ability. Granted, she is Chinese-Australian, but still poor prep work in my opinion javascript:emoticon('')
The IO spent a couple of... read complete review
