Our appointment was Nov. 7th 2011 2:30p.m. At 300 N. Los Angeles St. in downtown L.A. We parked our car private parking lot across the alameda St. ($6 all day).
There was no line (only took 3min.) to go through security check point. Room 1001 was not that busy and soon after we arrived, one officer came and asked us for the appointment letter. He took 4 couples to 4th floor, and again, took three other couples to other waiting. Anyhow, around 3:15, one IO called my wife's name, and led us to her room. She was polite, but you can feel very firm and professional back-bone from her. We had sworn to say all the truth nothing but truth. The IO asked to my wife all those things such as have you convicted any crime, joined any militia, communist party bla bla bla bla-answers were all no. The IO asked my wife current address, date of birth, and then asked our papers. Documents? Ah, o.k. here we go, we show her Lease agreement with names on, Insurance copy, Bank statements. The IO asked me my original citizenship certificate, and copy. Original Marriage certificate and copy. And finally, the IO asked us 5 pictures about this marriage is legitimate. What you want to keep our pictures? Dhuuuuu WE brought only our wedding album. The IO asked us if we can cut some of pictures. Sure why not. Anyway we have another copy at home, so we cut 5pictures from our wedding album. The IP asked my wife nothing but her parent's first and last name. That was it. After the interview, she called us to the window, and gave us white paper that says I485 is approved, and even before we arrived to our car, I and my wife got the E-mail from USCIS that they have ordered production of a Green Card for my wife.
