I went to have my biometrics taken at the new ASC in East Hartford, CT. It's located at the School Street Shopping Plaza, next to Subway. It was very easy and quick. I didn't have to go through security and I even saw people with cellphones, which are apparently forbidden. I only went in with my appointment letter and driver's license.
I had to fill out a quick form and after giving it back to the receptionist I was called for a picture, signature and fingerprints.

we had our appointment scheduled for 3/2/2017. arrived about 45 min early. The building is a little hard to notice right away but once we found it, we went in.. they accepted us early, answered all sorts of questions and moved us through very quickly.. The workers here were an absolute joy to interact with as well and being efficient. I hope the rest of our interactions go this well.

I am truly pleased with the efficiency and all around courtesy I experienced at Hartford Field Office 2 days ago.
I am the beneficiary and my husband is the petitioner, a USC. My husband and I arrived at the Hartford office at 10:17am for our 11am AOS interview. We never got into the building to check in until 10:53 due to a large amount of people and only 2 security officers on duty. We checked in and the friendly receptionist asked if we had any documents to submit for proof. I was a bit surprised since I expected to present proof while with the officer. I handed all of the copies that we had made and she asked us to have a seat.
After approximately 45 minutes of waiting we were called by our surnames by a stern looking albeit pleasant gentleman who ushered us to his office. He then swore us in and proceeded to ask my husband his name, birthdate and address. He then asked him what my name and birth date was. Then proceeded to take information from I130 and ask question... read complete review

I had my AOS interview here today - the office is in the Court House (you can park on the street for $7 for 4hrs, or $9 in a parking lot across the street). The security here were awesome, so friendly and joked around with us.
We checked in with a lady at the front desk who took our appointment letter and asked us to take a seat. We arrived about 30 minutes before and had our interview at our interview time.
The interview was very straightforward. It was a request for additional paperwork proving we were married and a confirmation of my original paperwork, both from my K-1 visa, J-1 in the past and now AOS. It took us a while to go through it and we handed only handed over new documents (joint bank accounts, insurance docs, photos, facebook status updates), all evidence that proved we were married and cohabiting.
The lady did not request anything that was on our appointment letter but make sure to bring copies of EVERYTHING. Have one fol... read complete review
